Traveling to Chicago

Chicago is served by Midway and O’Hare International Airports, offering 3,500 flights a day. Included among those flights are direct non-stops to 60 international and 154 domestic business centers - more than any other city in the world. The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place is located ten miles (16 kilometers) from Midway Airport and 23 miles (37 kilometers) from O’Hare Airport. Both airports offer bus transportation by Airport Express for roughly half to two-thirds the cost of private cab fare. Other ground transit options include private limousine service, van service for small groups, and Chicago Transit Authority rail service. Additional air transit options include Chicago/Rockford International Airport (RFD), Waukegan Regional Airport (UGN), Gary/Chicago International Airport (GYY), and General Mitchell (Milwaukee) International Airport (MKE).

Travelers from certain countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program can visit the USA under certain conditions without a visa. The "visitor" visa is a non-immigrant visa for persons desiring to enter the United States temporarily for business (B-1) and for pleasure or medical treatment (B-2).
