Summer temperatures in Chicago can range from 78°F to 92°F (26°C to 33°C) with moderately high humidity. Overnight temperatures usually drop to around 65°F (18°C), but can remain well above 70°F (21°C). Chicago summers are prone to brief thunderstorms.
